Michael Ceely, Executive and Leadership Coach

Hi, I'm Michael Ceely, an executive and leadership coach, serving the San Francisco Bay Area and clients online throughout the U.S.

Having worked with C-suite clients at Fortune 100 companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, I see the same pattern: leaders who truly want to lead are stuck in reactive mode due to the demands of their company.

I can empathize. In the early 2000s, I worked in the Bay Area's booming tech sector where I learned about high-pressure deadlines, teamwork, and workplace dynamics. I saw how people flourished in functional companies and suffered in dysfunctional ones.

My tech career sparked a deep intrigue in system dynamics, interpersonal relationships and performance psychology, so I pursued a master's in counseling and went on to found three successful counseling practices.

Prior to my counseling and tech careers, I was a professional cyclist, winning two state championships and twice qualifying for the Olympic Trials.

My background in psychology, business, and sports informs my coaching philosophy, and I offer my clients the same strategies used by top business leaders and elite athletes.

My Core Values

Growth

People are happiest when they're growing. Stagnation at any level leads to complacency. No matter where you are in your endeavors, focus on growth.

Heart

You hear about people who "have heart." They perform with bravado and inspire others with their passion. This is the inner fire that propels people to greatness.

Purpose

Ultimately, it's not about you. It's about your contribution to making the world a better place. The best performers escape their egos and commit to a larger purpose.

Win-Win Relationships

I believe the coaching relationship must be rooted in honesty and compatibility. I won't work with you unless I'm 100% confident that I can help you get the results you want. If it's the right fit, I am fully committed to your success.

I invite you to contact me to discuss your goals and see if we would be a good match for working together.

Lean-In Mentality

I'm competitive by nature and I bring this mentality to my coaching. Whether I'm working with a C-suite executive, a tech startup founder, or a professional athlete, I lean in and go on the offensive.

My philosophy is to face problems head-on and play to win instead of playing it safe.

This approach, combined with practical, real-world strategies helps my clients achieve exceptional results.

If you have a determined vision for your success, I'm here to help you make it a reality.
